Obituary of Dawn Elaine Scian

Dawn E. Gittelman Scian, of Monticello, passed away on June 11, 2021. She was 65 years old. Dawn was born onJanuary 14, 1956 in Passiac, New Jersey to the late Leo Gittelman and Dorothy Ferraro Gittelman. She was employed by the United States Postal Service in Paramus, New Jersey. In her free time she enjoyed listening to music. She was an avid animal lover who lovingly cared for a variety of pets during her lifetime. Dawn was a devoted wife and mother, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dawn leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert Scian; her son, Thomas; her sisters, Joy Mandaro and her husband Frank, of New Jersey, Debbie Wagner of New Jersey, and Wendy Saia and her husband, Louie, of New Jersey; and many loving nieces and nephews. Dawn is predeceased by her parents, Leo and Dorothy. A memorial gathering will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
