Eleanor "Ellie" Grace Sheeley Hyde O'Rourke, of White Lake, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was 85.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin J. Sheeley and Lela V. Knickerbocker, born on August 2, 1935 in Monticello, NY.
We are sad to say our special, beautiful, smart, loving, funny, strong Mom has succumbed to her fight with Parkinson's Disease. She left us with love in our hearts, patience, forgiveness, strength and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone that knew her, but especially by her family. Thank you for everything you sacrificed for us all. Until we meet again, rest in peace, Mom.
Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband James O'Rourke; her devoted daughters Janice L. Hyde Kammerer (Brian), Debbie L. Hyde LaGrutta, Eleanor G. Hyde (Danielle) and Nellie L. Hyde Broskin (Jerry); as well as fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and her sister Martha A. Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. She now meets in Heaven her children Alan Keith Hyde, James Robert Hyde and Baby Hyde; and siblings Raymond, Arnold, Clarence, Leslie and Kenneth Sheeley, Ruth Schock and Anna Gardner Partridge.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY 12749. A funeral service will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
