Gerald F. Tuleweit of Shandelee passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris, NY.
The son of the late Otto & Gertrude Tuleweit and was born on February 16, 1943, in Queens, NY. The family moved to the Beechwoods and he attended Delaware Valley Central School. After moving to Kenoza Lake, Gerry graduated from Jeffersonville Central School in 1961. He served in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam conflict
He is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Christopher (fiance', Alicia), and daughter, Brenda –all of Shandelee; a sister, Irmgard Schroeder of Youngsville; two grandchildren Cody and Lindsey, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Corrigan and brother Richard Tuleweit.
Although he was retired he enjoyed talking and sharing stories about his days as owner and operator of Tuleweit's Auto Parts and Video in Livingston Manor, tire deliveries, mowing lawns and snowplowing, and, of course, his family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
