Obituary of Daniel Davis

Daniel "Herman" Davis Jr. of Liberty formerly of Livingston Manor passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center with his mother by his side. He was 47. He was the son of Shirley Davis and the late Daniel Davis Sr., born on December 28, 1973 in Liberty, NY. Known to many as "Herman" he loved spending as much time outside as he could. He was a true outdoorsman. He loved camping, hunting and fishing. He worked as a logger for many years for various different companies. He enjoyed listening to country music and stock car racing. He loved his children more than anything in the world and they will miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother Shirley Davis, his children Mathew, Brandan, Cheyenne, Mickayla, Samantha, Robert, Alexis, Daniel, Emily and Shirley, his granddaughter, Aubrie, and grandson Aiden, his siblings April Davis, Helena Abrahamson, Jeffrey Davis Sr., and Jacki Davis, and his lifetime friend Richard "Popeye" Perry. He is predeceased by his father Daniel Lee Davis Sr. and his uncle Robert "Bobby" Davis. Memorial visitation will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Colonial Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY from 2-4:00pm.
