Albert M. Fraley, of Monticello, NY, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2021. He was 82.
Albert was born on September 5, 1939 in Monticello, NY to Albert S. Fraley and Marion LeRoy Fraley. He was a gifted horseman who was proudly self-employed as a harness horse trainer / owner for many years. He married the love of his life, Irene, on June 21, 1964, and together they raised two children, Linda and James. He was a member of the local Union of Operating Engineers. He greatly enjoyed all "his kids" on his bus route for Gersherwitz. Albert enjoyed music, but he especially loved country music legend, Patsy Cline, a good game of cards and a good joke.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Irene E. Fraley; his daughter, Linda Terwilliger and her husband, Lee; his son, James H. Fraley and his fiancé Olga Agosto along with Peter, Joey and Maria Hernandez ; his grandchildren, Tara Lin Terwlliger, Galen Lee Terwilliger and Cody Alen Terwilliger; his sister, Dawn Fraley Collura; his dearly loved great-grandchildren Ava Irene, Alexander James and Aislinn Linnette and many cherished nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Gerald Fraley and his sister, Nancy Whipple and nephew George Whipple.
A celebration of Albert's life will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 2 to 4pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY. Social distancing guidelines as set forth by the New York State Department of Health will be in place; masks must be worn at all times.
