Obituary of Eunice Stanton
Please share a memory of Eunice to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eunice Stanton, of Bethel, passed away in the comfort of her home in the early morning hours of November 3, 2021. She was 68 years old. Eunice was the daughter of the late Carole Joan and Ted Dailey.
Eunice, "Nunie", "Eunie" had a laugh that could be distinguished in even the biggest crowd. She was a fun loving woman who always put her family first. A homemaker by trade, she could often be found cleaning her house, blasting oldies and country music. She enjoyed playing BINGO and coffee.
Eunice was the epitome of a matriarch. She was always there to help anyone who was sick, to pick up kids from summer camp, or to lend an ear when something was troubling you. She could also process and cook wild game and fish better than most.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband and best friend, Lowell Stanton. She is survived by her daughter Tammy LaPolt (Robert), of Bethel, her son Jason Stanton (Allison) of Ferndale, granddaughters Paige LaPolt (Christopher) of Campbell Hall, and Ashley LaPolt of Bethel, and one great-grandson, Dolenn Weston of Bethel. In addition, her siblings: Dann and Debbie Dailey, Ted and Sue Dailey, Debbie Avery, Brenda and Thomas Tubens, Joe and Laura Dailey, and Robert Dailey, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Per her request, Eunice will be cremated and there will be no formal services to be held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home in Kauneonga Lake.
The family appreciates your condolences during this very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
