Dean A. Roosevelt, of Roscoe, passed away on January 2, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 77.
He was the son of the late Edward and Gladys (Wood) Roosevelt, born on April 24, 1944 in Monticello, NY.
Dean was co-owner of Monticello Collision and was an autobody specialist. His passion was working on antique cars and he especially loved creating Ratrods. He was a current member of the Antique Automobile Club of America - Catskill Region. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He left many smiley faces along his way. He will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his loving companion for over thirty years, Gloria Applegate; his children Sheri Gregory, Dawn Gordon, Betti “Goop” O’Brian (Pat), Denise “Menace” Makita (Alex), Tammy “Giggles” Perez (Anthony), Cindy Moudry (Tim), Debra Reuss, Todd Van Keuren (Connie) and Joseph Van Keuren (Rebecca); grandchildren Mike Turner (Suzy), Kyle Makita, David Makita (Meaghan), Crystal Thompson (Matt Brash), Brandy Gordon (Joseph Peardon), Ashley and Jennifer Gregory, Caitlane Fricia, Ian O’Brian, Corey Van Keuren (Alyssa Cinque), Chelsea Cunningham (Jeremy), Jenna Booth (Bo), Andrew Wyss (Ashlyn Jones), Tiffany Potts (Blake), Taylor Van Keuren (Lauren Ellison), Sean Reuss (Shelby), Brandi Coleman (Justin), Cally Moudry and Morgan Van Keuren; great-grandchildren Mila, Cason, Kora, Tara, Cheyenne, Kendra, Chance, Elizabeth, Axle, Lily, Carter, Shea, Rory, Avery, Maci, Eliana, Jaxon, Ella Cate and Kilian; as well as nephew George Roosevelt (Sadie) and niece Rhonda Roosevelt; and his great-niece Tiffany Roosevelt. He is predeceased by his brother Dale and daughter Nancy Roosevelt.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Rev. David Coon will officiate. Fellowship to follow at White Lake Fire House.
