"Jack of all trades, a Master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
In his short life he was many things. In his everyday life he was an artist, musician, comedian, dancer, lover, fighter and healer. He lived for speaking positivity and strength into his people because he knew all too well what the opposite looked like. He didn’t want that darkness for even his worst enemy.
Throughout his years, his changing career path demonstrated that he was always willing to do the one thing in life that’s constant: CHANGE. From dog groomer to factory worker; assisted-living aid to dental assistant, he was the kind of man that just kept growing and never stopped proving he was not afraid of his personal growth or what it cost him to get there.
He once said "I’m not afraid of dying and moving on. I’m afraid of leaving this world without leaving an impact.” I think he can rest easy knowing that, through all his growth, he finally did reach that level in his life where he did, in fact, have a huge impact on this world and everyone whoever crossed his path. Because of this, we will all carry a little piece of the man he is.
Meek will forever be remembered by the ones who loved him most. A father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend. Meek's presence will forever go on. He asked, “Please just remember me as I was - A REAL ONE.”
