Obituary of Daniel William Huebner

Daniel William Huebner , age 23, of Kauneonga Lake was born July 31, 1998. He went to be with the Lord February 2, 2022.

Daniel was the son of Patricia and Daniel Scott Huebner. Even though he lived his life with disability, he brought great joy and love to everyone he met. He loved to laugh and joke. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends watching SpongeBob, cooking shows and boating on the lake. Daniel went to the Center for Discovery until he was 16. Some of his favorite activities were going to class, making new friends, keeping the staff on their toes and playing Power Wheelchair soccer. He next attended the Langan School and participated in their Special Olympics. He graduated in 2019.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Huebner, sister, Brooke of Kauneonga Lake, and grandfather, Robert Huebner. He is predeceased by his father, Daniel S. Huebner, grandparents Grace and William Coddington and Joan Huebner, and special friend Mark Yewchuk. Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory many wonderful families, including Coddingtons, Huebners, Hollands, Robinsons and his many caregivers over the years, and Molly, his special furry companion.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church, Route 17B, White Lake, NY.
