Annie Mae Patterson was born in McClellanville, South Carolina on August 28, 1942 to Louetta
Brown and James Walker. She departed this life on February 12, 2022 at Andover Subacute and
Rehabilitation Center in Andover, New Jersey.
She attended Charleston County Schools in South Carolina before moving to Liberty, New York.
She was employed at Murray's Chicken for 30 plus years until retirement. She was then
employed with Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing until her health began to fail.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Joseph D. Patterson whom preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children George Brown (McClellanville, SC), Barbara
Ann Green (Jerome) (Philadelphia, PA), Vanessa Allen (Mr. Allen) (Manhattan, NY), David
Brown (Antoinette) (Arizona), Eulogio Pinto (Liberty, NY), and Shanice Owens (Liberty, NY).
Her siblings Betty Brown (Newark, NJ), Gertrude Garrett (McClellanville, SC), and Geno
Walker (McClellanville, SC). A brother and two sisters whom preceded her in death (Julia
Brown, Georgie Mae Walker, and Benny Walker) all of McClellanville, SC. 15 grandchildren,
18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. One grandson Travis Green whom
preceded her in death. Two special cousins Alice Rivers (McClellanville, SC), and Janice Branch
(Atlanta, Georgia), along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12 to 1pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. Burial will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.
