Obituary of Kenneth Beals

Kenneth Terrence Beals, born December 17, 1963, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 19th, 2022.  He is the son of Bessie Catherine and Nathaniel James, both deceased.

Kenneth Beals was a SHTA at Mid Hudson Forensic Facility and had happily retired on December 15, 2016 after 25 years of service.  On February 19, 2019, NYSCOPBA awarded Kenneth Beals with recognition of 26 years of service.

He leaves his wife Juanita Beals of 39 years; his son, Terrence Williams Beals, predeceased; his son, Alexander Nathaniel Beals; his daughter Tashena Williams-Beals; and granddaughter Tesha Williams-Fein.  He also leaves behind his brother Isaac James, brother in laws, cousins, and friends.

Kenneth was an avid bee lover, he loved gardening as well as taking care of his chickens.  Most of all he loved his family, and was always a man of his word.  Kenneth was a father, son, grandfather, brother, husband, friend, cousin and a blessing to many others.  Kenneth will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 11 am-12 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, 60 Berme Road, Ellenville, NY, with a funeral service at 12 pm officiated by Rev. Mary Gunther, followed by interment at Fantinekill Cemetery, Route 209 in Ellenville.
