James Vernon Bolden, affectionately known as Bear, transitioned on Friday, February 18, 2022 in West Nyack, New York.
Born on April 5, 1956 in Fair Hope, Alabama, to Artie and the late Annie Bolden, James is survived by his father, Artie Bolden; his sisters Adele, Barbara, Patricia, Ava and Florence; and his brother Jason. He is predeceased by his mother, Annie; his brothers Ricky, Ronald and Hiram Bolden; his niece Malaysia and his companion Sherry. James also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family. Bear will be greatly missed. Rest in power.
A visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello, NY 12701. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery.
