Mitchel R. Krasnoff, of Ferndale, NY passed away on April 26, 2022 at home. He was 75. He was the son of the late Henry G. Krasnoff and Matilda M. (Kuchma) Krasnoff, born on October 26, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. Mitchel proudly served our country in the US Airforce from 1966-1970. He worked for 27 years at Orange County Community College and retired in late 2002. In his free time he enjoyed working on cars and restoring them. He enjoyed metal detecting and was always searching for gold. He was an avid cat lover and is survived by six cats. He is survived by his wife of 34 and a half years, whom he married on October 17, 1987, Arleen; sister Barbara Ann DiCintio and her husband Gene; nephew Lee DiCintio; as well as numerous cousins. A visitation will be held from 11am to 3pm on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will be held at 3pm. Burial will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, for further information call 845-292-7160
