Obituary of Pamela Longley

Pamela "Pam" Longley of the Arc Greater Hudson Valley NY, the East Dillon IRA in Monticello, NY passed away at her home on May 31st, 2022. She was 72. Pam, as she preferred to be called, was born on November 4, 1949 in Newburgh, NY to the late Dorothy E. Hadden and Richard V. Longley. Pam came to Arc Greater Hudson Valley, NY in April of 2011 where she made many friends who considered her a special party of their extended family. Pam will always be remembered for her love of coffee, Chinese food, and all things purple. Pam preferred to be with staff just to talk and exchange a joke or two. Pam enjoyed playing Bingo and Uno. She enjoyed all types of music and would dance along to any song played. Pam had a special relationship to one of her staff, Stella Butler who she loving called, "Charlotte". Pam will be remembered for her feisty and spirited personality and attitude. Pam leaves behind many friends and family at Arc Greater Hudson Valley, NY. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, NY at 11am.
