Obituary of Richie Shaver

Richie Shaver, of Loch Sheldrake, passed away on June 14, 2022. He was 44.

Richie was born on February 23, 1978 in Harris, NY to Richard Shaver and Patricia Wood Shaver. He was employed as a mechanic at PepsiCo in Liberty. He was an outdoorsman whose favorite pastimes included BBQ's,hunting, fishing, and camping. His favorite thing to do was to be with his family, play with his children and grandsons, he loved watching his children play sports. Richie liked help others, if someone need help he was always right there for them. Richie was a devoted family man who lived his life for his wife, Angie, their children and grandchildren. He adored them all with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Richie leaves behind to cherish in memory his wife of 21 years, Angela Magie Shaver; his children, Richie Shaver of Swan Lake, Austin Shaver(Vicky)of Roscoe, Leann Roach(Sean)of Loch Sheldrake, Ethan Shaver(Emily)of Loch Sheldrake, Weston Shaver of Loch Sheldrake and Richard Sutowski of Liberty; his grandchildren, Collin, Jaxson, and Hudson Shaver; his sisters, Pam Curry, Sharon Curry, and Mackenzie Shaver; his brother, George Zeinger; his stepfather, Larry Banks, Jr.; his brother-in-law Frank Magie and his wife Rebecca; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces,great-nephews,cousins and a host of friends.

He is predeceased by his mother, Patricia Shaver, his brother-in-law Bobbie Magie, his father-in-law Robert Magie, and his mother-in-law Louise Magie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, from 4-7 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
