Obituary of Matthew Dort Miceli

Matthew Dort Miceli was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on October 5th,1982 to Janet D. Miceli and the late Joseph H. Miceli. He was 39 yrs old, about to turn 40. His first year was spent in Brooklyn. Matt and his family then moved to Liberty, N.Y. where he spent his youth. He attended St. Peter' Regional School from Kindergarten to 4th grade. He then attended Liberty Middle School and was a graduate of the Class of 2000 from Liberty High School. Matt enjoyed being on the Football team as well as the Wrestling Team. He later attended Pace University. Matt loved the City and enjoyed several business ventures there. He worked as a Personal Fitness Trainer at various facilities in the City. He loved working out, fast bikes and fancy cars. He was an avid Snowboarder and loved to hit the slopes with his friends. Matt was predeceased by his Dad, Joe Miceli and his sister, Jessy Dean Miceli. He is survived by his Mom, Janet Miceli and his siblings, Laura and Demi. He also leaves behind his niece Taylor and Great nephew, Adrian. Also, his nephews, Brandon and Matthew and niece Jessy. He also leaves behind his long time companion, Paris Elson. Matt also had many longtime friends, ( some from Kindergarten), some from his short journey through life. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. We will forever carry Matt in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm at the funeral home.
