Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Nichols

Cheryl Lynn Nichols, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center.  She was 66 years old.

Cheryl was born on March 28, 1956 in Liberty, NY to Reginald Edwards and Vera Dowdy.  She was employed in the retail industry as a clerk at various stores during her lifetime, but the pride of her life was her family, including her beloved husband Timothy James Nichols, Sr. who passed away in June of 2014.  Cheryl was an avid crafter; creating things was one of her favorite pastimes.  Butterflies held a special place in her heart, and her eyes would light up whenever she saw one.  The holidays were special to her, but she especially delighted in Christmas.  She found joy in decorating and making the house festive, and she enjoyed getting into the spirit of the season by watching Christmas movies.  

Cheryl leaves behind her children, Timothy Nichols, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Livingston Manor, NY and Carrie Moreno of Washington, PA, eight siblings, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Timothy Nichols, Sr. 

Memorial Services and burial of ashes will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
