Obituary of Lucy Rose Bishop

Lucy Rose Bishop, of Hurleyville, passed away on October 16, 2022. She was 5 years old. She was the daughter of Michael Bishop and Jennifer (Barrett) MacKenzie, born on February 14, 2017 in Harris, NY. Lucy attended Kindergarten at Tri-Valley School. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all lives she has touched. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Jennifer MacKenzie of Hurleyville, NY; father Michael Bishop of Lake Carmel; grandparents Lorraine and Harry Barrett of Loch Sheldrake, NY and Eileen and Art Bishop of Lake Carmel; sister Calie MacKenzie at Hurleyville, NY; aunts Kristin Barrett and Jessica and Ashley Baker of Roscoe, NY, Kathleen Bishop and Christina Weiss; special friends James, Alex and Asher Kachelreiss of Loch Sheldrake, NY; and her feline companions Sylie and Apollo; as well as many other special friends, too many to mention. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 4pm at the funeral home. Pastor Carl Caskey will officiate.
