Pauline E. Thalmann, age 56, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2023. Born August 2, 1966 in Port Jefferson, NY to her mother Ellen G. Cheeseman and Charles W. Cheeseman. Pauline graduated from Liberty Central School in 1984. She graduated from SUNY Sullivan with her associates degree and then pursued a career in medical billing for The Maxon Company in Neversink, NY.
Pauline volunteered as a coach for AYSO soccer for her daughters and enjoyed attending their sporting events. As a grandma, she found pleasure in making cookies, going on walks, and sitting around the fire. She was a free spirit who enjoyed music, sports, puzzles, and reading. She was very talented with crocheting and enjoyed making a variety of items for family, friends and those in need. She found peace and comfort being surrounded by her friends and family. As an empathic person she went above and beyond for those she loved, always willing to offer a helping hand.
Pauline is survived by her companion, Tom Lauria and her mother, Ellen G. Cheeseman, her two daughters Alyssa Thalmann and her fiance, John Desrochers and Jessica Osterhout and her husband Andrew. Her siblings, Robin Bianculli and her husband, John Bianculli, Charles Cheeseman and partner Lucille Heera, Andrew Cheeseman and partner Jennifer Zito and her grandchildren, Enrique, Jeremiah, Christopher, Blake, Lucas, Daniel, and Thomas. Her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Charles Cheeseman and step father, Martin White.
There will be no visitation.
A graveside memorial will be held for family and friends at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum at 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735 on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:30am.
