Obituary of Roger Daubek
Please share a memory of Roger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Roger Leroy Daubek, "Uncle" "Caveman" age 67, passed away on Saturday February 25, 2023 after a short illness.
Roger was born in Middletown, NY on December 07, 1955. He loved to travel, living in many places all over the United States throughout his lifetime. Roger was a wandering soul, seeking experience and culture wherever he went. He loved the races and the outdoors. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, and telling stories by the campfire. For those that knew him, knew he was a man of many words, always having something to say. He was a jack of all trades, able to find his way to do most anything. Roger was his own man, always honest to himself, a trait his loved ones will cherish and miss most.
Roger is predeceased by his parents, William and Anne Daubek and his beloved son, Mikel Raymond Daubek, who we know is fishing in the creek with him today. He is survived by his brother William (Dolly) Daubek, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and even a great great nephew, as well as many other family and friends. Roger is also survived by his brother and his best friend, Richard Daubek, with whom he spent most of his life traveling down the backroads, tinkering around the house and arguing about anything under the sun with.
Roger will be deeply missed by every person who knew him and his stories and soul will never be forgotten.
There will be no services, a celebration of life will be planned by the family. In lieu of flowers, Roger would simply want you to go outside, take an adventure and stay true to yourself.
