Obituary of Marjorie Lazzara
Please share a memory of Marjorie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It's with a sad heart that I announce the passing of my Mother Marge. Mom passed away on June 9, 2023 at 11:48 pm. Since September of 2023, Mom was subject to having three strokes, the latest was in the month May 2023.
As of today, June 14, 2023, I sit here writing Mom’s memorial with a glad heart knowing she is in Heaven with my Father, Peter J. (Sonny) Lazzara Sr, their first-born son Joseph, all of her brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
Margie played a lot of different rolls in all her Blessed years. She was a wife, a mother, worker, homemaker, babysitter, caretaker, a Sunday school teacher, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many...
But, most importantly, was the love and knowledge she had when it came to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Aways sharing with me God's love, mercy, and grace. The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus He made for all mankind. And the gift of eternal life. I can say today with confidence that on June 9th I was Blessed to sit with Mom after her passing, filled with the Spirit, sharing scripture with Prayer, knowing at that moment her struggle here was over and she was already in presence of God. Thanking her for all she had done and taught me.
There is no greater gift than having complete trust and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who brings peace to the broken hearted.
Psalms 73:26 - My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Ephesians 1 3-5 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.
