Obituary of William LLOYD Ross
United States Army Veteran, PFC William “LLOYD” Ross of Bethel, NY, cherished and beloved husband of Babette Marie {Shook} Ross, passed away suddenly this last Thursday, July 13, 2023, because another vehicle rear ended him {full force}, which then thrust his own into on-coming traffic. Just one hundred and eleven days following the awful loss of his teenage son, his departure is excruciatingly tragic to the shared network of family and friends in the community.
Lloyd was the best DAD to both his biological children and step-daughters. He instilled in each a Legacy that will be reflected honorably throughout their lives. His wife and children were the most valued members of his most precious life. He was and will continue to be our strength, our inspiration and the light in our lives of each painfully approaching dawn.
Lloyd was the most loving, patient, understanding, forgiving, kind, compassionate, honest, and hardest working man most of us will ever get to know in this lifetime. He touched many lives in many communities and several countries. His Legacy should and will be carried for eternity.
Lloyd had a very beautiful relationship with God and it helped him to overcome many things in his lifetime. He was a “knower,” a “see-er,” and a “true believer” in the word. It was helping him and he would also help others through God’s love and energy. Lloyd would want us all to remember that we WILL see each other again.
Predeceased by His father; William Ross Sr.; and Son; Zachary Kane Ross, Lloyd painfully leaves behind his wife and best friend, Babette. His daughters, Nicole, Jessica and Michelle; Grand-daughter, Alice; His mother and In-Law, Jeannette Ross and Veronica Shook; Brothers Gerald and Bruce Ross; a few other In-Laws, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends…and several special close friends that he considered family.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. David Coon will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 12 pm at White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church, Route 17 B.
