Mr. Brian Scott Sprague of Livingston Manor, NY died unexpectedly on Monday, August 14th, 2023 at home. He was 50. He was born June 23, 1973, in Liberty, New York, the son of Marilyn and Kenneth Edwards.
A family statement: Brian was the most cheerful, hardworking, and down to earth man you have ever met. His family was always his priority. His heart was pure, and he always spread love to others. He was very passionate about fishing and hunting and was excited to share his knowledge with whomever was interested. His love and enthusiasm will live on forever with us.
Brian is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn Edwards; his children, Julie C. Edwards, Brian N. Caputo (Brittnay Friedlander), Robert J. Caputo Jr. (Jessica); his brothers, Kenneth L. Edwards (Britni) and Matt Edwards; his sister, Mary Edwards; his maternal aunts, Carolyn, Janet, Lois, and Loraine; his nieces, Cierra Edwards and Brittany Edwards and her son Bradley Schock; his niece and Goddaughter, Amelia Edwards, his nephew Michael Edwards; and nephew and Godson Liam Edwards, his granddaughters, Bella D. Caputo and Luna F. Caputo; as well as many other dearly loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Colonial Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St, Livingston Manor, NY, 12758, on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm. A visitation will be held at Vine and Branch Free Methodist Church, 2535 Route 52, Liberty, NY, 12754, on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at the church at 12:00pm. A procession will follow to Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 104 Cottage St, Middletown, NY, 10940 approximately at 2:30pm where Brian will be laid to rest in a mausoleum.
