Obituary of Gregory G Elkins

Gregory “Skip” G. Elkins passed away on October 27, 2023. He was 90 years old.

Gregory was born on November 22, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY to William Elkins and Mae Bagley. He was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Gregory proudly served in the Army and fought in the Korean War. After his time in the military, he worked in the tunnels, carried out a career as a carpenter for many years thereafter, and ran Kings Catering House of the Catskills with his wife, Billie, for 50 years. He was also a member of the American Legion post 566.

He is predeceased by his wife, Billie Elkins, and his stepson, Edmund F. King.

Gregory leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly.

Gregory was a loving and generous Husband, Father, and Uncle who will be greatly missed.
