Obituary of Arietta Gabus

Arietta Gabus, of Liberty, NY passed away on October 30, 2023 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Home. She was 80 years old. 

She was the daughter of the late Emma Cole, born on December 2, 1942 in Harris, NY. Predeceased by her husband, James Gabus. 

She enjoyed working for the Liberty Elementary School before she retired. She would spend her free time crocheting, reading and most importantly, spending time with her 10 loving grandchildren. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Tracey Gabus, Casey Gabus, Ernest ‘Ernie’ Gabus, Mathew ‘Matt’ Gabus and her bonus son, Richard Perry Jr. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren as they spent a lot of time with her; Sky Perry, Storm Kuhlman, Summer Kuhlman, Anthony Fountain, Wayne Bain, Daniel ‘Danny’ Gabus, Tyler Gabus, Johnny Fountain, Sean Gabus, and her predeceased granddaughter Celeste Fountain. 

Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
