Obituary of Richard Lee Robinson

Richard Lee Robinson passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the White Plains Hospital in Westchester County, N.Y., one month shy of his 76^th birthday.  

Dick was born in Monticello, N.Y. on November 30, 1947, the eldest son of Vincent and Blanche DuBois Robinson, of Grahamsville.  

He attended Tri-Valley Central School and earned a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. Dick had a varied career focused on computer technology.   He loved music and in his youth was active in a local Rock and Roll Band called the “Regents” along with his brother Bob and close family friend Bobby Krum.

Dick is survived by his wife Nancy Lewis Morris Robinson of Houston, Texas;  two daughters,  Lisa Lombardozzi and her husband Joe, and Danielle Broes and her husband Mike, of White Plains;  seven grandchildren,  Gian-Luca, Lorenzo, Arianna, James, Erin, Teresa and Emma;  two brothers, Robert Robinson of Hurleyville and Gary Robinson of Washington, DC;  his extended family Rina, Teresa, Vito, and Gerard Sinapoli of White Plains; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in 6317 State Route 42 Woodbourne, N.Y. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 1:30 pm followed by internment of the ashes at the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
