Obituary of David DeCroti

David DeCroti, of Monticello, passed away on November 15, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center. He was 68.

He was the son of Thomas Joseph DeCroti and Mildred Mary Foye, born on January 12, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY.

David was a witty kind-hearted person who never met a stranger as we all were his brother, sister, aunt and or uncle.  He was fond of serenading people with his array of Rock and Roll as well as Blues.  His favorite song of all times was “I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill by  Fats Domino  “. David loved all whom loved him and never let you leave his presence without a smile.  David leaves behind a legacy of a life well lived and many happy hearts of those with home he crossed paths.

He is survived by his family in PA whom loved and cherished David; as well as his housemates at the Starr Ave residence, friends and extended family at the ARC of Greater Hudson Valley NY. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10 to 11am at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 11am.
