Obituary of Tony Puzzo

Tony (Antonino) Puzzo of Livingston Manor, NY passed away in Florida on November 23, 2023. He was 93.

He was the son of the late Sebastian and Francesca Moscuzza born on July 13, 1930 in Siracusa, Italy.

He migrated from Siracusa to provide a better life for his family. Tony was a hard worker and was always proud of his family. He worked as a mason for 30+ years and he was also a past Lion’s Club member. Nino was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Tony is survived by the love of his life, Iole of 74 years at home and five children. Frances and her husband Franco Cappitta of Brooklyn NY, grandchildren Franco, Daniela, and her husband Roberto. Son Daniel Puzzo of Florida. Son David Puzzo and grandchildren David Jr. and Samantha of NY. Daughter Diane and her husband Thomas Babich of Livingston Manor NY. Their daughters Valentina and spouse Brianne Gallagher and great grandson Weston Thomas of Highland Lakes NJ.  Granddaughter Christine and her husband Jesse Ierardi of Parksville NY. Daughter Fiorella and her husband Maurizio Muscia. Grandchildren Nicholas and Bella of South Fallsburg NY.    

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Citrus Hospice Care of Homosassa and staff, along with the center.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hernando Pasco Hospice at 2939 West Gulf to Lake Highway Lecanto, Florida 34461.

A visitation will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulfur Springs.
