Obituary of Eric Mark Hannold, Sr.

Eric Mark Hannold, Sr., of Neversink, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at home. He was 64.
He was the son of William H. Hannold and Minnie Mae (Gorr) Hannold, born on February 9, 1959 in Creg Clair, NY.
Eric worked for the Town of Fallsburg as manager for several campgrounds and golf courses. He was a member of the Woodbourne Fire Co. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and operating machines and tractors. But above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
He leaves behind his wife May Hannold; children Tabitha Wiener (Jeff), Eric Hannold, Jr. (Alison), Chad Hannold (Jessica), Ethan Hannold (Devyn) and Jayelyn Hannold; ten grandchildren; siblings Vicki Smith, Roger and Duane Hannold and Barbara Gorr; as well as many other siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his canine companions Marley, Zeus, Rocky and Schyler. He is predeceased by his son Robert Hannold; and several brothers and sisters. 
A visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Woodbourne Cemetery, Parsonage Rd., Woodbourne, NY 12788.
