When Uncle Roger and Aunt Cher lived in Jamestown. My Boyfriend and I would go visit them at least once a week. We had so much fun. One time we won tickets to see Clint Black. We gave them the tickets they sat in the front row and got to shake his hand. Another time we would have them go to the ice arena to watch young kids play hockey. Dave and uncle Roger came up with this idea. You go on the other side of the arena and buy 50/50 tickets and Dave would stay on the other side and buy a ticket. That way they felt they would have a better chase at winning. Unfortunately it didn’t work. But they both had fun and laughed about it.
Uncle Rogers hugs were tight and meaningful and the love for his family was everything to him. He was funny and great to be around and I still have the bent spoon he made for me with his bare hands. How much he looked liked my mother Cheryl his sister. Family was very important to my uncle and I'm sure all knew him knows that. In remembering my Uncle and living on I'll love my family harder and enjoy life more. Cause it's all moving way to fast. Love and miss you uncle Roger. Please kiss my mom for me.
So sorry for your family's loss Roger was a great friend to everybody ,Roger and I would joke around who would blow rasberrys first at each other, he would usually win we loved the old time country music he new all the songs and you could hear him singing the ones he really loved he loved all children including mine and my grandsons he treated everyone the same ,I'll miss your laughter he will be missed by me very much rest easy my friend !
