Obituary of Reginald Lamar Brown

Please share a memory of Reginald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Reginald Lamar Brown, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born September 3, 1963, in Monticello, New York, to the late Ms. Maggie Loretta Brown and Mr. Calfonia (Frick) Jackson. Reggie received his formal education at Benjamin Cosor Elementary School and Fallsburg Central Middle and High Schools before moving to Culinary Arts at Job Corps. He worked in the restaurant industry in various capacities in his adult life.

Reggie brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He could often be found imparting the many life lessons he learned to his nieces and nephews. He also had a strong sense of family, always ready to stand up and defend his family members. Reggie was known for his big heart and artistic skills. He was willing to lend a hand wherever needed, as Izzy, Daisy, and Jackson acknowledged when he handed out their doggie treats.

On Sunday, May 06, 2024, Reggie passed away unexpectedly. Reggie was unfortunately preceded in death by both his mother, Maggie and his father, Calfonia, as well as his sister, Karen Brown-Jenkins. Reggie leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers Kevin and Gerald (Shevaun); his sister Quintina Michelle; his Aunt Elizabeth Anderson, and uncle Gregory Jackson; his nephews Damien, Jamar, Anthony, Reggie, Joshua, Cornelius and Kristopher; his nieces Britanni, Brianna, Emani, LaMonica, Jennifer, Ashley, Tashara, and Kayvana; his longtime partner Marie and a host of cousins, great nieces, great-nephews and friends.
