I am so sorry for your loss. Ms. Mary Lois always made me feel like I counted. That I was not alone in my troubles. She told me stories of how she and my grandmother were best friends. She will be missed. Smile think of the good times and live your best life to honor her.

I am so saddened and heart broken about the passing of my dear Auntie. She will be dearly missed in so many ways. Going to miss hearing her and Mom (Margaret Herring) talking on the phone about the afternoon stories. The discussions were so intense until I thought they were talking about something that just happened in real life, only to find out it was about the stories. I think Victor, from the Young and the Restless, was their favorite character in the stories. She was a rock in her community and many gravitated to her and enjoyed just spending time with her, her laughter, and her many stories. I love you Auntie, Wanda.
I send my sincere condolences to the family. Maelois will be missed. Maelois always had a good story to share and a beautiful smile. She had a warm heart and would always give whatever she had to anyone. I remember going to maelois house to grease her scalp and just sitting, talking and laughing with her. If you were in a down mood when you went to maelois house, you would always leave in a happy mood. Maelois would have my side hurting from all the laughter. Maelois not only looked after me when I was younger, but my own children. Mae lois always played the hits and cooked the best. Saddened that I will not get to see maelois sitting outside the house on my summers back up north. She will certainly be missed. I love you!!!
