Obituary of Michael Howard Smith

Michael H. Smith from Pond Eddy NY passed away peacefully at his home Monday, February, 7, 2022. He was 68 years old.

Michael proudly served our country in The United States Army receiving two honorable discharges. He loved sports, reading, listening to music and had a passion for gardening. Most of all he was loving and kind with a great sense of humor we will all miss dearly.

He is predeceased by his parents Ernestine Akt, Howard Smith and wonderful son Eric.

He is survived by his stepfather Walter Akt along with three loving sons Mike, Alexander and Harrison. Also, two grandchildren Anna and Austin. Several siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on April 8, 2022 at 1 pm at The Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen NY 10924.
