Obituary of Adele DiMartino

Please share a memory of Adele to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Adele Lori DiMartino passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 13th, 2022 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. She was 62 years old.

Adele is the daughter of Claude and Mary Arletta Davis. She was born on December 4th, 1959 in Livingston Manor NY. She was living in Venice, FL with her husband Sam at the time of her death.

Adele graduated from The State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She enjoyed her career as an Accountant in New York City and Florida.

Adele was an extremely loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. Her laugh was contagious and she always knew how to have a good time. She loved her husband and daughters; they were her world, and she couldn't have been prouder of them.

It's impossible to describe such a special person without knowing Adele. She was highly intelligent and extraordinarily kind. She loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking, knitting, crocheting, shopping, decorating her home with her husband, tending to her plants, and spending time with her family and friends. She was brilliantly talented and artistic with her crafts and creations and had an eye for style. She loved talking on the phone with her daughters, swimming in her pool, going to the beach, and watching the sunset from the jetty or Sharky's pier. She enjoyed a cold beer at the end of the day and was a natural comedian. She was voted Ms. Glamour Girl senior year at Livingston Manor High and will remain our #1 glamour girl for the rest of our lives. Adele was so beautiful inside and out.

Words cannot express how much Adele is deeply loved and how much she will be painfully missed.

Adele is survived by her loving husband, Sam DiMartino and daughters Lori and Sara DiMartino; her brothers Howard Davis, Brian Davis, Martin Davis, Edwin Davis and his wife Shirlee; her sisters and their husbands Joan and Paul vonHardenberg, Janice and Bob Eleazer, Norma and Frank Cruz, and Arletta Akselrad; and many nephews, nieces, and friends. Adele is predeceased by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law Claude and Joan Davis, her brother Robert "Bobby" Davis, and her sister-in-law Sheryl Davis.
