It is with great sadness that we announce that Lillian M. Barbarick, of Ellenvill, NY passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Sunday March 5, 2023. She was 77 years old.
Lillian was born on September 25,1945 in Little Cove, Pennsylvania to Ellis Keefer and Pearl Keefer.
Lillian was a dedicated nurse for 53 years. She loved taking care of people in need. She was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed sitting by the water reading her books and soaking up the sun and being around her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed many vacations, but she loved Dollywood and going to the Grand Ole Opry and seeing Loretta Lynn.
She will be deeply missed. She is survived by five of her children, Diane Dunn of Loch Sheldrake, NY, Kenneth Wertz of Florida, Yvonne Beal of Indiana, Victoria O’Dell and her husband Ronald O’Dell of Hurleyville, NY, and Pamala Wertz of Ellenville, NY, and her two honorary daughters, Heather O’Dell and Latesha Wertz of Woodbourne, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lillian is predeceased by her mother and father, all of her sisters and brothers, her eldest daughter, Wanda Turner, her son-in-law, Francis Dunn, Sr., and her grandson, George Dunn.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 6-9 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY, with a funeral service officiated by Pastors Rich and Kathie Ienuso at 8:30 pm at the funeral home.
