Obituary of Brad Steven Baker

Please share a memory of Brad to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Brad Steven Baker, of Riverdale, NY, passed away on September 29, 2023. He was 67.

He was the son of the late Jackie and Helen (Blume) Baker, born on August 30, 1956 in Liberty, NY.

Brad graduated from Syracuse University Theater program and had a brilliant mind and appreciation for all the Arts. He was ahead of his years and placement of such things, and in his day, he was like living with a foreign exchange student from the country of Manhattan’s Fine Arts Scene. He toured as an actor after graduation with a children’s theater group with great success. He later discovered a talent for interior design, he re-trained himself and incorporated his creative energy into high end interior design. With well-appointed taste, he had several top-shelf projects to his credit. Sadly, had it not been for his health giving him intermittent issues he could have done more.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers Jackie Baker of Virginia and Gary Baker of California; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one brother Shaun P. Baker.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758.
